One such Hollywood actor is Mark Wahlberg. So, what is it about this actor that makes people think he uses steroids? For several years now, Mark Wahlberg is being accused by several former wrestlers of utilizing steroids to bulk up his impressive body. Even though there has yet to be any solid proof that Wahlburg does use steroids, many people are not buying his side of the story. In fact, many others are even convinced that Wahlberg is not telling the truth and is purposely keeping his fans and friends from figuring out the truth. In this article, we will look at the Mark Wahlberg Steroids accusations in full.
The first question you should ask yourself when thinking about steroids is, do steroids build muscle mass? The answer is a very strong no. There is just no scientific evidence whatsoever to prove that taking steroids will help you gain muscle mass over time. Also, steroids do have some dangerous side effects that can be potentially fatal. As you can see, there is simply no need for them.
Another question one might ask is, how did Mark Wahlberg gain muscle mass during his two months of intense training? The answer is simple: steroids. At the time, Wahlberg was working with real estate agents, but in two months, he claims he was using steroids to bulk up.
So, now we come to the "pounding" part. You might be wondering what Mark Wahlberg was pounding in his body. In addition to the previously mentioned real estate agent work, Wahlburg also did acting work on films such as 'Titanic', 'Vanilla Sky', 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind', and more. By the end of the year, he had built up quite a physique. His acting career was cutting him down, but now, with real estate and acting careers going strong, he was able to take advantage of it. He built on his already impressive physique and built on it even more.
Now, let's look at the similarities between what Wahlberg was doing back in the eighties versus what a potential steroid user could be doing now. The main difference between the two is the amount of weight training that would be involved. Mark Wahlberg obviously worked extremely hard at building his physique. If he were a potential steroid user, he would most likely be putting in the same effort now.
Even though Wahlberg is in great shape now, if he was working out like a bodybuilder, he probably would not be in the same shape that he is now. It's not because he doesn't work out; it's because he does it so intensely. There is no doubt that steroids could help him obtain those same huge muscles that were there when he was a teenager. He has proven himself. However, it's the fact that he did it in such extreme intensity that puts him in a class all by himself as a specimen of the bodybuilder genre.
A potential steroid user can look at their acting career and see something similar. Think about the current boy band members of the Three Days Grace. Each of them has bared their skin for the cameras. None of them have tried to gain any muscle or burn any fat. All of them look like they could use some help gaining some serious size. Then again, none of them could ever hope to fit into the costumes and wigs that they wear to portray their characters in the television and film industry, either.
A lot of actors and actresses want to fit into the cool and funky crowd of the 80's. A chance to gain a little size would help them get that edge. Mark Wahlberg gives us that chance in his role as Rocky Balboa. He may not actually use steroids, but he could have been one of the lucky few to gain some from his acting career.
